Hi, I’m Fatima/Tima Abdeljawad, @timabdeljawad, the heart behind Mila Photography here in Montreal.
I’m a journalist turned newborn and maternity photographer, and a proud mama myself. My journey began three years ago, right after my little girl was born, and my very first photoshoot was with her. That’s when I realized how precious it is to hold onto these fleeting moments.
I know, as a mom, how deeply these memories matter. That’s why I pour my heart into every session, whether it’s capturing the quiet beauty of pregnancy or the tiny details of your newborn.
I’m a self-taught photographer, but not new to storytelling. With over 14 years of experience in media and photography, I chose to step away from technical workshops and instead follow my passion and mother’s eye for detail. For me, it’s not just about creating pictures, it’s about creating memories you’ll treasure forever.
